Observation

2)a) There were a few small toys and legos in a tray on the shelf in the bedroom/playroom that were accessible to children under age 3. 2)b) The window blinds in the kitchen do not have pull cords, but they are the type with exposed inner cords that can be pulled out to form a loop. It has been determined that this type of window blinds is not permitted in licensed space. 2)c) There were multiple cords in one of the drawers under the coffee bar that were accessible to children as the drawers were not secured in any way. 2)c) There was an electrical cord plugged in to an outlet on the deck near the railing. The cord was accessible to children in care. 2)c) There was a beaded string up on the wall with several strings hanging from it, and children's artwork clipped at the ends of the strings. This was within reach of children and could be pulled down to pose a hazard of strangulation. 2)d) There were diapers stored in opened plastic bags under the sink in the bathroom. The cabinets were not secured, so the plastic bags were accessible to children and pose a hazard of suffocation. 3)a) There was a toy arrow with a sharp point accessible to children on the unlicensed part of the deck. The unlicensed part of the deck was accessible to children as the gate was not secured in any way to prevent child access. 3)c) There was a plastic chair outside in the licensed space with broken plastic on the armrest. 3)f) There is a play kitchen in the main child care space near the dining table that has not been secured to the wall prevent tipping. 3)f) There was a large, folded plastic table in the outdoor play area that was leaning against the house up on it's edge. It was heavy and posed a hazard of injury if it tipped and fell on a child. 3)g) There were several small toys in the sand area that had broken plastic and missing parts.
